Fire Relief
Making a difference in the lives of those who are hungry comes in many forms.
As our County has been devastated year after year with wildfires, we have teamed up with celebrity chef Guy Fieri & other organizations to help those affected by the fires get nourished.
We harvested and delivered produce and helped cook meals to be helicoptered to feed firefighters battling blazes on the front lines. We also delivered nutritious produce to those families who lost their homes or who were facing hardship due to the fire devastation.
Many of us are way too familiar with the stabs of fear brought on by phone evacuation alerts, the terror of seeing angry flames fueled by wind dangerously close to our homes and the tears of seeing burn scars where there used to be homes and family memories. Sometimes it is something as simple as sharing food with loved ones and knowing your community cares and has your back can provide hope. We are equipped to do that, and with your help, we tirelessly do so.
