How do we engage our local community in reducing fresh food waste sent to our local landfills?
By helping us in collecting the unsold produce from our local farmers and growers every Saturday at the Healdsburg Farmers’ Market.
Every Saturday from May through November we collect the unsold produce from the Healdsburg Farmers’ Market and deliver it those in need. Our Market to Pantry Program connects the unsold produce of farmers and growers to those in need within our local community.
From 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., on the first and third Saturdays of each month, we also host a Farm to Pantry market stand. This is a great way to get to know your farmers and your neighbors, as well as raising awareness of the importance of the need for and the benefit of eating nutritious produce.
